ABOUT EVAN
Evan Rabinowitz, D.Ac., M.Ac. is the founder and director of the Yao Shan Center for Chinese Medicine in Washington, D.C., where he has maintained a thriving clinical practice for over 25 years.
He is a faculty member at Daoist Traditions College of Chinese Medical Arts in Asheville, North Carolina, and currently serves as a lecturer in the Integrative Medicine Program at Georgetown University School of Medicine.
Previously, Dr. Rabinowitz was the Director of Chinese Herbal Medicine at the Maryland University of Integrative Health (MUIH), where he played a pivotal role in developing the university’s Master’s and Doctorate programs in Oriental Medicine during his eight-year tenure. He also served as a faculty member and Chinese herbal supervisor at the Academy for Five Element Acupuncture in Gainesville, Florida.
He is a recognized educator in the field of Chinese medicine and has presented on East Asian medicine and philosophy at numerous colleges and universities across the United States. Dr. Rabinowitz maintains an active national and international teaching schedule, offering continuing education for acupuncture and herbal medicine practitioners.
He holds a B.A. from The George Washington University, a Master of Acupuncture (M.Ac.) from the Traditional Acupuncture Institute, and a Doctor of Acupuncture (D.Ac.) from MUIH.
